A dog’s love is unconditional. They are one of the most selfless creatures on earth. But sometimes, they can be a little overprotective and selfish, too.
Penny, for instance, loves her mom and dad so much. But when it comes to her toys, they are hers alone. And she’s not quite a fan of sharing, particularly not to a stranger.
The adorable pup thought her playthings are safe lying on the ground outside their house. She’s used to leaving them in the yard, after all. But it was too late when she realized she’s sorely mistaken.
A couple of days ago, Penny was inside the house, relaxing with her mom and dad, when a coyote suddenly appeared inside their yard. While it seemed that the wild guest had no other plans but to pass through to the wilderness, the toys captured her attention. And without anyone protecting them, it was too difficult for the wild animal just to pass by and ignore the toys.
Excited with all the colorful toys surrounding him, the coyote dived into the fun. From afar, it didn’t seem that it was a wild animal at all. He looked like one domesticated dog, enjoying the leisure of life.
But while the coyote was having fun, from inside the house, Penny stared in dismay. She couldn’t accept that someone else is playing with her beloved toys. Watch that moment here:
The only thing Penny could do was to watch the coyote play with her toys from inside the house. She whined, begging her mom and dad to let her out so she could save them. But just as any other responsible and smart dog parent would do, they refused to let the concerned pup out.
Hopefully, the wild animal didn’t leave Penny’s toys completely damaged. And even though it wasn’t easy for Penny to see such a scene, it’s adorable to know that coyotes know how to have fun, too.
