A cat named Kiki, living with three Shiba Inus, has now started believing that he is also one of them. The feline has started acting and behaving exactly like his canine buddies. The cat often waits for the owners to give him commands, begs for food, and likes playing fetch.

The dogs also treat the cat as if she were their direct sibling. It seems that the Shiba Inus are totally ignorant of the fact that the cat belongs to a different species — or maybe it’s just not that much of a deal for them.

The owner of the animals told reporters loved being with the canines, but she also wanted to extend the family by having a cat. The owner’s husband was not very fond of the idea of having a feline, but he had to give in to his wife’s wish.

The owner said that she looked for a feline breed known to be compatible with dogs and finally chose the American Shorthair.

The cat was bought from a breeder in Kanagawa and then got introduced to the dogs in the house. The interaction between the feline and the canines went really well, and the animals immediately became buddies. Later, the bonding became so strong that the cat even started to act like his canine siblings.

The owner once took all her animals to a Shiba Inu party, where the cat got along pretty well with all the dogs. However, one pooch didn’t fancy the feline very much and started barking at him, but Kiki’s canine siblings barked back at the aggressive dog and made him quiet. The incident made the owner realize that the cat and the canines had truly become close buddies.

Kiki and the Shiba Inus now do everything together and have become completely inseparable.
