The media has always portrayed cats and dogs as mortal enemies. However, this is not something that you will see in real life. Depending on their training and socialization, cats and dogs can become the best of friends.
This is why you’ll always hear stories of cats and dogs being playmates and cuddle buddies. In this story, a Beagle and a kitty share one hobby: birdwatching.
Jasper and Bo
When a woman named Lisa Olsen-Plummer decided to adopt a Beagle called Bo, she was not entirely sure how the dog would interact with Juniper and Jasper, her two cats.
It actually took some time before the cats got used to Bo’s presence. When the cats finally accepted the dog into their pack, Olsen-Plummer believed that they would have a peaceful life together. However, she didn’t expect that Jasper would grow attached to Bo.
Initially, Jasper would just watch Bo from afar. He always kept an eye on the dog, as though he was figuring out whether the pup was trustworthy or not.
Then one day, Jasper realized that Bo was a good pooch. The cat came up to the dog and placed his paws around Bo as if he was about to hug him. Since then, the two have never been separated.
The duo’s viral birdwatching video
For Olsen-Plummer, Jasper and Bo’s friendship is special. She proved that after she managed to film a heartwarming moment of her two fur babies.
In the video below, you could see Jasper sitting on the top of the couch and looking out the window. Apparently, he was birdwatching. Bo then jumped onto the couch and sat beside Jasper. He was probably curious about the number of birds that his cat brother had already spotted.
Bo placed his paw around Jasper. He must have remembered that Jasper almost gave him a hug when he was much younger. It seemed that Bo was just returning the favor.
Olsen-Plummer says that she was super excited to capture the beautiful moment between Jasper and Bo. And she’s right. The moment between the two adorable pets is just so warm and tender.
