Patsy has been with her human family for five long years now, and she has developed lots of favorite activities over that time. The Golden Retriever loves meeting babies, getting free treats at her mom’s office, hiking, and going out for ice cream trips among others.
Patsy’s human mom, Margot Hoeflinger, shared that when her dog is finished doing all the things she loves, she caps it all off by taking afternoon naps right outside the deck. She recalled that her four-legged companion loves joining her husband out in the back deck whenever he works from home.
Margot described Patsy as a sun goddess who loves sunbathing to pass the time. She shared that she and her husband bought Patsy plenty of indoor and outdoor doggy beds to choose from, but the warm deck remained to be her favorite spot regardless of the weather outside.
Margot recalled that Patsy was taking her usual afternoon nap on the deck while she and her husband were doing some work in the yard when it suddenly rained. They rushed back into the house before they got too wet and called Patsy to go in with them, but the dog did not seem to mind the sudden weather change one bit.
Margot and her husband tried calling Patsy repeatedly to come inside, but it turns out that Patsy had no motivation at all to get out of the rain. Margot jokingly said she and her husband call Patsy their queen because she refuses to let anything disturb her little peace outside the deck.
Patsy eventually got up after her human parents’ nagging, and that was when they noticed a cute dog-shaped mark she left behind. Patsy’s fluffy and chunky body kept the deck underneath her dry while the rain poured down and around her, which made her parents laugh a lot because it ended up looking like their dog’s long-lost twin.
