Dogs like adventures, especially when they are with their owners. However, some preventative precautions must be taken to prevent the occurrence of untoward events. When engaging in outdoor activities, the owner should constantly keep in mind that the safety of his or her dog is the primary priority.
An unidentified man neglected this basic rule when he decided to go kayaking with his beloved dog. The man was unable to assess the strength of the waves, thus the dog became unbalanced and fell into the waters, and the man found himself in a difficult situation and didn’t know what to do.
Fortunately, rescue arrived when Vasco Velez witnessed the tragedy. Vasco is a board rider and was quick to offer assistance to the distressed dog. When other people learned of the situation, they gathered and began to try to find ways to help. People yelled and cheered as Vasco rescued the dog, as he rescued the dog.
When he came close, Vasco observed that the dog was straining. The individual continued to swim in the direction of the dog. Eventually, he was able to seize the helpless dog and bring him to safety. Fortunately, the dog cooperated throughout the entire rescue process despite him really struggling to stay afloat.
Velez did not anticipate playing a significant role in the dog’s rescue. Despite that, he is grateful and pleased that he was able to save a dog in need. Throughout his rescue mission, Velez was able to record the entire thing on a camera that he had with him.
He decided to post the video to social media to serve as a warning to dog owners. Velez stated that doing extreme activities with dogs is okay. However, dog owners should always make sure to practice caution to prevent mishaps like this one.
