We had heard of several lost dog stories all around the internet. But if there was a price for finding the most bizarre pooch, Kristofer Goldsmith sure takes home the crown.

He was driving down one of the streets in Takoma, Washington DC on his way to work that day. All of a sudden, something white and blue dashed across the road in front of him. Curious at the mysterious runner, he jumped out of his truck and approached it.

As it turns out, it was a lost dog in an adorable pajama! The pooch was pretty nervous to see Kristofer, but he allowed him to carry him over to his car. Kristofer then made an improvised leash for the pooch, so he can return him to his owner if they were nearby.

However, after a mile of walking, the lost dog clearly was not interested in any of the houses they passed by. So they returned to the truck, and pooch in pajamas immediately cuddled with Kristofer. It was as if the dog was already attached to him and made him his new owner.

Kristofer knew he still needed to return the pooch somehow, so he decided to search for other information on his rabies tag. He learned that the pooch was named Frosting and that he was only eight months old. However, the company refused to disclose Frosting’s owner’s information.

Having no other choice, he brought Frosting to work. And right there and then, Kristofer knew he wanted to take home the pooch. He and his wife were planning on adopting a small dog to accompany him in the office.

Frosting was just that and more. He was very cuddly and always wanted to be near Kristofer wherever he goes. However, Kristofer and his wife still waited for someone to pick up Frosting.

A week after, the couple received no calls for retrieving Frosting. But they couldn’t be happier to welcome the new addition to their family. The couple is now buying stuff for the pooch, and hopefully, this includes plenty of pajamas.
