Audi is a husky that has a terrible case of separation anxiety. Most often, his owner would leave him alone in their yard when he goes to work. And like a lot of dogs, being left alone makes Audi lonely and scared. So he would often cry and whine.
Thankfully, a dog nearby is there to give him assurance and support.
Just across the street
Messy is a yellow labrador that lives across the street. He stays in a house in Thailand with his mom, Oranit Kittragul. Oranit says that Messy is a very sweet and gentle dog who adores nothing more than to make her smile and feel loved. And apparently, he is willing to do the same for Audi.
When Audi feels anxious and starts making noises, Messy would go to their fence and stand up. He would then bark at Audi as if he was giving him some comforting words. Hearing him, the lonely dog across the street would also do the same, and he would stop crying.
This regularly happened, and Messy would always be there to comfort him.
Gratitude
Audi is so grateful for Messy’s company, despite the distance between them, and decided to show his gratitude when he had the chance.
One day, the lonely dog’s owner forgot to set the latch on the gate, and Audi was able to push it open. But instead of running away, the dog crossed the street and went straight to his best friend’s house. Audi then stood up on the gate and started barking, calling out to his friend.
Oranit was surprised to hear Audi’s bark so close to their home. So she went out of her house with Messy following her. They immediately saw the husky, looking excited and wagging his tail. Messy then went to the gate and stood up as well.
What happened next deeply touched Oranit’s heart.
Audi reached out his paws and placed his head over his friend’s own head. He gave him a hug as if to thank him for the times that he was there for him. It was such a sweet moment that Oranit had to take a picture. Sadly though, the moment was not to last.
Audi was taken back to his home.
It’s incredibly clear that there is a strong bond between the two. Oranit showed the pictures to Audi’s owner and they have decided to make plans to schedule a play date for them. Hopefully, this would make the dogs happier.
